This weekend, there will be at least two sobriety checkpoints at the Jersey Shore.

In Deal:

- When: Friday, July 26, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Where: Ocean Avenue
- Details: Police will stop all northbound vehicles and direct them into the Deal Casino Beach Club parking lot to check for impaired drivers.

In Spring Lake Heights:

- When: Saturday, July 27, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Where: Route 71
- Details: Police will stop all southbound vehicles and direct them onto Passaic Avenue for sobriety checks.

Local police officers will work with the Monmouth County DWI Task Force at both locations.
